Pros

The Glassdoor app is a must-have for anyone serious about their career. Its salary feature is incredibly useful and accurate—especially for professionals who want to benchmark their worth in the job market. I really appreciate how easy it is to search for job titles and locations and instantly get salary estimates, total compensation ranges, and actual employee reports. What sets it apart is the transparency. You get to see not just numbers, but also insights into bonuses, stock options, and even how salaries vary with experience and company size. The data is crowd-sourced but refined enough to be trustworthy. Whether you’re negotiating a raise, switching industries, or just staying informed, Glassdoor's salary tool is one of the best out there. Highly recommended!

Cons

the app does have a few limitations. Some niche job titles or locations lack sufficient data, which can lead to incomplete or missing salary insights. Access to full information often requires logging in or contributing your own review or salary detail. Occasionally, the data may feel outdated, and because it's user-submitted, it might reflect extreme cases rather than the average experience. Despite these drawbacks, Glassdoor still stands out as one of the most useful tools for salary research when combined with other platforms or market knowledge.

Pros

-Culture and people are amazing. Some of the most dedicated and smart people I know were at Indeed. -Selling can be easy at times because of the market position Indeed has and quotas are often achievable, since most clients have running budgets that don't change very often. -Overall a very good, chill role with good pay that is fairly consistent, and great benefits for healthcare. 6mo parental leave. -Lunch is provided in-office with food/snacks. required 2x per week but only for sales and cs. Having face time is appreciated but wish there was some flexibility to choose days (e.g. on rainy days).

Cons

-Growth in role can be stagnant as you have a fairly static book of business, and little novelty once you've had the same conversations repeatedly. Little room for internal mobility/training. -The chill nature/ability to somewhat coast can lead to little urgency internally, and because of the stagnancy in book of business, one single client change can ruin your quota attainment. -Large changes in the past few years with many leadership changes. -Internal processes can be frustrating with so many teams and bloated orgs -May see some big changes again with return of Deko as CEO so this all may change.
