Pros

None! Five words would be, None! None! None! None ! Too much of internal politics. Ready to employee anyone and everyone with fake experience, just to bill clients atrocious amount of money. Most employees (IBM India) can't even speak proper English.

Cons

Bad pay. Insane mangers. Unreasonable expectation. Exploitation of Employees and the Clients. The only winner is the company. Impossible to get promotions with the new Career Point process.

Good training and learning options (though for .NET you won't get a chance to apply the same) Relaxed work environment (offshore) Good brand Good initial package

Cons

Terribly top heavy company - I have seen teams with 3 developers and 2 PMs. The variable pay - you won't get 100% no matter how good you perform. Average payout is 40% only. No proper development projects in .NET in Kolkata location. Extremely unfriendly managers who care the least of the well being of the employees.
