Pros
Work life balance is great at IBM. In my department, management allows the employees to be flexible with their schedule. You may have to work during the off hours or weekends but can easily manage your work and home life.
Cons
IBM used to be a great company to work for, but not anymore. I have been with IBM more than 30 years and have watched the decline. You will not see raises or any financial incentives any more at IBM. They have constant resource actions (firings) looking for cheaper employees. I would not recommend IBM as a place to work. New hires can expect to be resourced with in a couple of years of starting their employment.
