Our company increases the compensation as we make profits. Besides, our company values top performers with great rewards. 3. Managers care about employees’ well-being and career development and can offer flexible work schedules. 4. I am working with great talents on a team, which is a rewarding experience.

      Cons

      1. Career advancement is slow. People can stay in the same job title or band for a long time. 2. People can get re-deployment or laid off.

      Pros

      Work Like balance is probably one of the best things IBM has going for it provided that you take advantage of what they are offering. Otherwise you can get sucked in and commit way too much time to work.

      Cons

      The promotion system to rating have recently been disconnected allowing them to give praise but hold off on promoting and paying more. It really boils down to a "trick" to keeping you working for them for less money. On a different topic IBM is a big company and they say you can move around when you first start. I would say that this is not always the case. Depending how the business is doing and your area they will often hold you back.
