Pros

Complimentary lunch. Benefits are good. Parking is free for some and discounted for managers.

Cons

Extremely toxic culture within Executive Management at hotel. Negative employee satisfaction surveys resulting in executives berating your entire team insisting that your department is the problem. Internal Meetings cancelled due to Executives needing to run to the ABC store to get bourbon for themself and their collection. Leaders who insist on write-ups because of how Executive Management feels that day. Leaders fearful of losing their jobs walking on eggshells. Highly unappreciative starting from the top down within the hotel. We were told that we could not buy anything for our department using our own funds to show our appreciation for our colleagues because they were already paid well. The Hotel does not function correctly. For example, escalators have been out of service for long periods of time (months) and never get fully fixed consistently breaking down. Sadly, the escalators cannot handle the traffic and high volume. All the Hotel can do is provide short fixes for the escalators. Groups refuse to rebook business at the hotel because of this and being an Event Manager makes it impossible to service groups with this happening over and over again.
