Pros

Free 3 nights hotel stay per year for part timer. Soccer team. Free food after the buffet hours from the leftover. The pay was good for partime.

Cons

Flex schedule. Not enough hours. Union fee was expensive. For the week with only 1 day of work, the union fee could eat away more than half of your pay check.

Pros

Employee empowerment allows employees to resolve guest issues and complaints quickly. Diverse job requirements allow for constant work eliminating "down time."

Cons

No employee meals. High demand for low salary (i.e. Gallery Host position includes: Front Desk, Bartending, Shuttle Driving, Stocking Kitchen/Bakery-Cafe, Cooking, Reservations, Concierge, and Cleaning, but pays less than $10/hr.) Very limited opportunity for advancement as the brand is relatively unkown and doesn't carry the reputation of Marriotts and Hiltons.
