Thank you for taking time to write the review and provide feedback. You are correct in stating that Hyatt has a lot of opportunities. Although, sometime the track is faster, if you are open to moving. We do our best to provide options to those who are open to moving and not. Much of it is about timing.

Pros

The staff are all very helpful and approachable. Senior management is very understanding yet able to be stern when needed. The responsibilities of a banquet server do not include difficult tasks so it is not very strenuous.

Cons

The work environment was friendly but the employees in my department were much older (40+) so I didn't have much of a relationship with them. I'm in my early 20s. Therefore my shifts weren't all that exciting. The employee dynamic wasn't what I particularly liked.

Pros

Great growth and transfer opportunities for management.

Cons

Surprisingly, Hyatt has one of the most outdated and inefficient software/computer systems in the industry. The orientation and training for all employees is sub par compared to that of InterContinental and Four Seasons. Average hotel benefits. Worst of all, Hyatt had the least life-work balance for salary employees than any of the 5 major brands I have worked for. Very time demanding. HORRIBLE - I mean, the absolute worst employee provided "meals" I have ever encountered.
