Pros

Organized, well executed events, good money, great captains and managers. You can consistently rely on supervisors and management. Can join 401k immediately for on call. Best banquets job to have amongst major hotel corporations in Puget Sound.

Cons

Too many "grandfathered" employees, shifts hard to get, takes up to 2 years to gain reliable income. Must have another job. No full-time, part-time opportunities. All positions on call only. Must be available Fri and Sat to get shifts weekly. No Fri/Sat, no shifts regardless if they need you.

Great benefits, great management team, opportunities for advancements, opportunities for over time, decent salary, company growth, health insurance, two days off a week, brand new hotel.

Cons

Stressful at times, guests can be demanding, many weekends are sold out and busy, work is not assigned so sometimes you end up doing more than fellow team members.
