Pros

The remodel was really well done and it's in a good commuting area. Benefits available for full time employees. Discounts on select hotels -the number is VERY few. There is ALWAYS a job opening at Hyatt Place! (see cons).

Cons

In one word: Management. In explanation: The expectations that are set are completely impossible to achieve. We are always understaffed due to so many people quitting. Employees are left with little or poorly done training because the hotel is in such a rush to get people working. Employees do not stay long due to the impossible expectations and management. Very sink or swim because no one (esp. leaders) will help or support. You will be spoken down to (like you are a child) for not knowing what you were not taught. They do not care about COVID-19 and show annoyance if you need to call in sick for any reason.

Work life balance is ideal

Lack of competitive pay. Upward mobility is limited with leadership.
