Pros

This was a remote position and I liked the work at home vibe. The benefits are great too and they have an emergency fund that doubles how much money you put into it. Liked dealing with easy calls that you was actually trained for and helping people who actually treated you like a human.

Cons

The training does not prepare you for this job whatsoever, they go over the basics just to have you left alone to figure out everything through mentor documents that are long and full of information that they want you to follow step by step, and you get graded off for it if you miss a long insane step. The calls are audited and they will grade you off for EVERYTHING even a minute of dead silence, very micromanaged position they will reprimand you for using the restroom you can get a warning for it. The calls must be above 95 for audits anything below even a 94 you can be terminated for, strict crazy rules. And don’t get me started on the customers they are so rude and nasty it’s like you have to be this fake robotic person to fulfill all their requests even while they treat you horrible. They don’t stick up for their employees or say you can hang up if someone is being difficult or cussing you out cause a claim got denied causing you to have mental health issues in the long run. They don’t have bonuses whatsoever and they expect you to have extra goals and things on top of your work load like volunteering and making you write out things that don’t even matter it’s insane. The best thing that happened was them letting me go. If you feel like you don’t like working under someone’s thumb I would look elsewhere.

Pros

Work from home, and they provide the computer hardware to do the job. Benefits start right away. Work as a team on a team, but you are responsible for your own production

Cons

They don't pay very well for a college educated, licensed insurance professional. This is a call center, and they will plug you into their algorithm needs, so you can't control your income outcome. They play favorites and decide who gets the best calls. This company works around Eastern Standard Time (EST), if you live in the West your meetings will be 3 hours earlier than business hours on the West Coast. The Human Resources dept does not care about you. They will take your report, and send it right over to your manager then it will be squashed by them going nowhere. This company takes DEI to another level, if you are a minority you might get somewhere.
