My manager is awesome and and this company is the total opposite of where I came from. There is no micromanaging here and I have GREAT co-workers. Career growth and movement to other areas of interest are encouraged.

Cons

Not all positions are work from home.

Pros

Good compensation. Training provided is very good. So many smart and talented people to learn from. Very upfront and clear regarding your job functions, as well as how your success will be assessed.

Cons

As with any large company there are issues with upper management communicating effectively with employees. There is constant change and most adapt, however sometimes you are not told why things are changing which breeds suspicion and rumors.

It's truly about who you know. If you work at Humana you need to make sure you network within the company if you would like for your career to grow. If you are not an outgoing person, you more than likely will get looked over when it comes to being promoted.
