Some areas are flexible on schedules, dress codes, and good work/life balance.

Cons

Certain departments do not have good leadership and in turn makes it stress on associates under those leaders.

Great company if you get in the right area. As with all bigger companies, there are some bad and good areas. Pay is decent.

Cons

work-life balance can be off. healthcare benefit is less than most other companies.

-A focus on wellness, not just selling insurance: Humana seems to understand that keeping people healthy results in less expense and happier customers, as well as more productive employees. -Hi-Tech solutions; Humana has done well at embracing the benefits of health monitoring technology through digital wellness-tracking programs for seniors, as well as encouraging employees to earn rewards by wearing Bluetooth fitness trackers such as Fitbits.

Cons

-Over-extension: Humana is seriously huge, and continues to acquire new products and companies almost constantly. This has resulted in the "Comcast Effect", where rapid expansion creates a mishmash of teams and infrastructures that don't quite fit together.
