12 hour shifts on a rotating schedule year round makes it tough to enjoy family time. Managers and area “leaders” are pretty self centered people with zero ability to lead a team. Safety is preached but not fully practiced. Training efforts are a joke, management doesn’t know the job to train people and senior team members have their noses stuck too far in the air and are not willing to help. Don’t come here expecting to learn unless your willing to teach yourself. No such thing as team work. Can go 10 miles in either direction and make more money so turn over rate is high.

Since the merger everything went downhill. The organization became too big that they need to start divesting and cutting costs to satisfy the shareholders. Jobs are being eliminated and piled on to whoever's is left to fulfill. You are given no choice but to accept or they will give you your walking papers. There is no such thing as job security after the merger.
