      Big company resources Many opportunities to travel Competes in an attractive industry. With some real strategy (not just PowerPoint presentations), Lafarge could be a spectacular company

      Bureaucratic to a fault Executive management more concerned with outdoing the competition (Holcim in particular) rather than in maximizing the health and profitability of the business Meetings for the sake of having meetings

      The benefits and compensation are better than average. Development opportunities are available, but you need to pursue them.

      Cons

      Lafarge is a very male dominated company. Good if you're "one of the guys". Not so good if you're not.
