      Good pay, but that is about it

      Cons

      Very clique-ish. I was there for 6 years and felt like an outsider the entire time. If you don't get in with the "in" group forget it. Work life balance was only for upper management.

      They're falling apart

      Pros

      Lafarge offered good benefits like a company vehicle, insurance, and pay was OK. Formerly dominated the building materials market.

      Cons

      You only get training if you're deemed high potential. Bad relationships amongst co-workers. A lot of management is not transparent. Talk a good game, but don't follow through. If you work your butt off it may not matter.
