Back when the Boca Raton Resort & Club was a Waldorf Astoria property, it was the gold mine of a great job. Incredible work culture, benefits, beautiful place to work, fair pay. It was my favorite place to be.

Cons

Then I worked at The Ray Hotel in Delray Beach. What a horrendous experience. The filthiest restaurant I've ever been in. Cockroach and bug infested in places I didn't even imagine before. The worst management in all my hospitality experience. We had a 500% turn over rate for management. I could write a book on all the terrible things I experienced there. Do not ever work there.

Cons

7 day work weeks for 85% of my 15 month employment. Had to resign as I had reached a burn out point. Their culture piece was " Care, Value and Respect. This was hardly the case as applied to work/family balance.
