Pros

historically a fantastic place to work Great people in a testing environment Brilliant products Great brand

Cons

Senior management out of touch with the market and the people Over reliance on software when the DNA is fixings and tools Difficult to do business with internally and externally Arrogance of management to only the Hilti way Pricing and constant price rises have made the products out of reach to the market, the sales reps cannot do deals anymore If you are good at data entry then its for you, if you want a career in sales its a starter company for a couple of years then move on, that’s the process now Long term employees are looked as dinosaurs yet the are the foundations and fonts of knowledge

Pros

Gym Benefits - The company provides great gym benefits, which promote a healthy work-life balance and encourage employees to stay active. Good Medical Benefits - The medical benefits offered are comprehensive, ensuring that employees and their families have access to quality healthcare when needed.

Cons

1 . Hilti is undoubtedly one of the best organizations in Europe and the US, known for its high-quality products and innovative solutions. However, the situation is quite different in India. The management here, most of whom come from service-based companies, does not seem to understand the unique culture or dynamics of a product-based company. 2. I have been with the company for three years, and during this time, I’ve seen no positive career growth despite being a dedicated, hardworking employee. Career progression seems to be reserved for those who engage in favoritism or “butter up” the managers, rather than those who are focused on delivering quality work. It’s incredibly frustrating to see talented individuals stagnate while the same people rise based on personal relationships rather than merit. In fact, around 80% of employees seem to struggle with it. 3. The company conducts the GEOS survey every year, but it seems like no action is ever taken based on the feedback. There is a lack of accountability, and the management rarely shows that they value or care about what employees have to say. It feels like feedback is ignored, and nothing ever changes for the better. 4. There is an overwhelming level of micromanagement, especially when it comes to office availability and monitoring, which creates unnecessary pressure. The work environment becomes stifling, as the manager's approach is more about control than support. Even when everything is running smoothly, the manager behaves like a "Hitler" figure, always dissatisfied and rarely appreciative. This kind of leadership style hampers the growth and morale of the team. 5. In short, if you're looking for a workplace that values your skills, rewards hard work, and promotes mental peace, this is not the place for you. The lack of career growth, the favoritism, and the oppressive management style will surely take a toll on your well-being.

Pros

Great company culture in their HQ in Schaan, Li.

Cons

Career Development plans that are in the making for years are changed completely overnight due to lack of commitment and decision making skills from senior management, who most often dictate instead showing leadership. Management promotes likeability rather than merits and achievements when it comes to promotions and career developments. Management enforces too much expectation on employees to be involved with extra curriculum activities and events rather than functional deliverables in order to get promotions and pursue other career opportunities.
