Pros

Some coworkers, free food sometimes. no worries about promotions. No incentives.

Cons

When it comes to commercial television there are a lot of better options and pay rates then what Hearst is going to give you. Even with years of television experience previously before coming here, pay you way less or give you a pay raise. There are LOT more hubs that will start you off on a better living wage. In fact, I actually declined better job with a pay raise to stay with Hearst, but it's not compensated or given a slap on the rear because that's they works. Unless you're an attractive female. I worked for this corporation in total of 10 years and have received nothing. I had to take FMLA, when you take FMLA here HR will constantly badger you upon your return not give you appropriate time to get better. It was every other day what's going on when are you coming back. During the pandemic they were noted saying that no one would be receiving raises for that year due to "corporate hardships", which was a lie, they did give promotion with a salary increases to a select few for more than 8,000 per year. Lies upon lies continuously get shoveled and a few of the coworkers are very very hostile. They love to spin a personal life situations into operations gossip. Hearst doesn't care about inflation or the cost of living to the employes, they are aware that you are replicable and will go to that measure to remove any persons who may disagree.
