Pros

Hearst Newspapers reporting group is a great group to work for. The team is very friendly and family oriented. The office/cubice area is bright and everyone has a great sense of humor which helps you get through the work. If you can embrace an environment where there are constantly shifting priorities, you will gain invalualbe skills in managing your time and learning to how to convey your value to an organization even if its less tangible than it would be at other organizations.

Cons

The environment can be challenging at times only because management shifts priorities on a near daily basis making it difficult to complete a task from start to finish and also making it difficult to assess your personal contribution. This is a problem at many companies, one that you either embrace (see Pros) or let it sink you. If you don't like this kind of environment, then stay away, you will either hate and quit or fail and get fired.
