Pros

I worked with a team who really cared about each other and their work. People worked hard to accomplish goals, and I️ always felt supported.

Cons

Not always easy to advance, but that’s the same across the magazine industry. Fewer jobs as more and more companies continue to consolidate.

Pros

Amenities and building are world class

Cons

Endless cons including poor management from the top down, overworked employees because of tight magazine budgets, nasty colleagues (some), bureaucratic rules prevented me from taking another job within the company. Making $32k in NYC doesn’t really work either. I was reprimanded for submitting my overtime hours.
