Pros

Gain good experience in publishing and editorial. Good benefits and atmosphere. Excellent place to gain experience in magazines. Now there's the digital magazines too.

Cons

I found it difficult to move between departments. I had an offer to move to international division from a senior vice president but the managing editor of my magazine wouldn't allow it.
