A great company

Pros

When all is said and done, Hearst is a great company that is easy to work for and tries to do the right thing. Obviously no place is perfect, but Hearst is squarely on the side of "great places to work."

Cons

A little stodgy and set in its ways, it definitely doesn't have the energy of a startup. That said, it has the stability of a 100year old company which in my mind is an easy tradeoff.

Pros

Great benefits, a nice office facility (when you’re not WFH), decent work/life balance

Cons

Doesn’t pay their entry-level employees well, doesn’t like to hire to fill entry level roles.
