Pros

- Competitive benefits - Emphasis on employee development and regular training programs, including DE&I training, management training, etc. - Senior management makes it a point to connect with individuals at all levels of the organization - Company values integrity, which is reflected in leadership principles

Cons

- Conservative culture that at times values tenure over fresh ideas - Less flexible remote work policies - Noticeable salary increases rare outside of promotions - Although making an effort, more work needs to be done to include women and people of color in top positions

Pros

Hearst is incredibly inclusive, diverse, and prioritizes employees’ personal and professional development.

Cons

Hearst is a large company, so someone looking for a smaller workplace/more team overlap would most likely not find that across all teams at Hearst, although the company does actively pursue opportunities for collaboration.
