Minimal benefits, poor management and development opportunities
Pros
Employee stock option plan, basic healthcare (reduced benefits after downturn), competitive (not fantastic) salary
Cons
Horrible management which lacks focus and unable to get work done. They are only interested in protecting their own ricebowls and showcasing their best to their bosses (usually Americans). This trait has also rubbed off to the SCMP program, which is supposed to groom leaders like them. Poor job security also as Management has no qualms of getting rid of headcount (even really good employees) to keep their numbers looking good. Now they are trying to re-hire quickly which is not very smart considering they got rid of so many experienced and excellent staff previously. No other benefits apart from the above listed and poor outlook for the industry and the company.
