Pros

I am working as a manufacturing electrical engineer in Halliburton Singapore. On day to day basis, i'm doing a lot of troubleshooting for the tools. The job is OK.

Cons

Managers are busy with their own career advancement. There is no culture of developing people in here.

Pros

Good training, good oil field exposure in the industry. Global enterprise with lots of opportunity within.

Cons

Management problems. Understaffing issues, lacks retention of key staff members in field operations. Career can be somewhat pigeon holed and may find it tough to cross over into operator company.
