      Halliburton is very safety oriented. The oil & gas industry can be a dangerous environment to work with, and Halliburton's number one concern is safety which makes it a great company to work for. Halliburton also has the top notch equipment, and the newest technologies for oil & gas services; therefore, there is a lot to see and learn from this company. Halliburton is the leading oil & gas service company in the United States, and has operations world wide which gives the opportunity for travel. The company also offers great compensation programs to all its employees making it easy to take care of yourself, your family, and your future.

      Cons

      I spend a lot of time away from home, and work long hours. it is very difficult to obtain a routine in the this kind of job. The company culture is very militaristic, which means advancement in the company is mainly based on time put into the company rather than qualifications and skills. Although there are operations world wide, you have to put in a lot of time into your job for the opportunity to work abroad. Most employees do not last long enough in their job to work abroad.
