Overall: -Poor work life balance even though upper management emphasis -however realistically NO. -Too heavy on process, unnecessary additional work load. -Toxic -Modern slavery Salary: Unfair -Unfair pay structure compared to neighboring country, lower pay band. --Some positions of engineers without annual pay increment as per company pay structure. Market downturn: -Strong believe on people development and retainment however every down turn will lay people off without hesitation. -Especially during downturn, will only being putting more load on personnel and pressured to deliver. -More workload with very limited resources. Senior Management: -Toxic, unrealistic, questioned and challenged people instead of support and empowered. -Unwilling to provide resources, You want to work the horse to death and not feed it. -Not supportive. -Arrogant, Disengagement from reality. -Weak HR where siding management instead of supporting employees -Inverted organization structure, "Too many chiefs, not enough Indians". -Always unrealistic promises to customers and frontline unable to deliver.

High Pressure, Low Support

Pros

None. I checked under the couch cushions, behind the printer, and in the employee handbook. Still nothing.

Cons

Look, I’m going to be blunt because nobody else will. The work life balance is a joke, full stop. The hours are whatever the business wants them to be, and the expectation is that you will deal with it. If you think anyone is going to notice you are burned out or step in to protect your time, you are going to be disappointed. The machine keeps moving, and you are expected to keep up. And the internal politics, it’s not a side issue, it’s the operating system. You can do good work and still get nowhere because the real game is alliances, visibility, and which camp you’re in this quarter. Teams can be territorial, priorities shift based on personalities, and decisions do not always follow logic or performance. It can feel impossible to navigate if you are expecting straightforward accountability. As for the executive team caring, let’s be serious. They care about outcomes, numbers, and not getting surprised. If you need empathy, reassurance, or a human-centered culture to feel supported, you are in the wrong place. This is an environment where you either learn to play the game and absorb the pressure, or you burn out and get replaced.

Slow progress

Pros

A lot of learning opportunities. Lateral movement within organization is easy and encouraged.

Cons

When it is shorthanded, expect to be deprioritised based in project. Pay and work input can feel unbalanced. Hyper focused on DEI to the point it feels biased for non-DEI hire
