Pros

a true global company, had a lot of exposure to international business. Good work life balance. HSBC allows people to work 2-3 days a week from home.

Cons

HSBC USA is not their main focus, so the career development is somewhat limited to the states. Benefits are getting worse each year, but I think HSBC is not alone.

Pros

If you get good manager . In support usually they have UK working hours and they follow the Indian holidays hence good place to maintain work life balance. Good core leave policy

Cons

Little work to do and if you work there for few years little value you will be having outside and you need to continue there. Less scope of change of project ,in case you are bored with the current project. No WFH for employee benefit . Its always in benefit of the company. Relay mostly on old guards i.e their senior management
