Pros

Relatively stable working environment, good job security, good medical and mortgage benefit. Well recognized locally in HK. Good management trainee program (banking side only, fast track career during the program)

Cons

Boring people staying in complacency, refuse to change or advance. Poor career/professional development. Even for management trainee, progression after graduation is slow. Promotion often depends on years of seniority instead of skills. Culture is nothing like a western bank, very local chinese/HK in fact. Lots of empty words, performance review is just a show to HR.
