- limited opportunity for development (You can work your ass of and don't get a promotion, most development managers see this part of their job as a nuisance) - projects are managed and staffed very badly - resourcing is ruthless - Highly politicized organization, you need to be friend with the right people to get ahead at this company (this is due to their history, it used to be a small to mid sized SAP joint before they were bought by HCL, and the people that decide are a sworn in group from these days). - They routineley sell more than they can actually deliver, meaning chaotic projects and massive pressure as a consultant - Limited opprotunities to improve functionally due to lack of cutting edge projects (they will tell you differently at interview)

When i was in college i used to thought if there is 100% job security in HCL why they hire thousand of students every year..when i joined and worked there for 1 year i got the answer.I left the company because i didn't i would have some mental depression type thing.B.Tech students dont join this company.Its not for you.There are profile like Window admin,net backup ,SAN etc. which you dont know and they are hardware related or you will get service desk or help desk where you have to pick call.There will be a person there called your manager who has joined HCL comnet 10 year back and have done BCA ,MCA with correspondence.He can't even write 10 lines on cow in english but he has done Phd's Phd in dirty politics.In terms of money HCL offers the least.No appraisal no perks.You will have to work in any combination of 9:30 hours round the clock .for example on monday you will come at 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM on tuesday you will come at 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM.Nobody will listen to you and if you tried to fight then forget everything you will have to work in out of office hours.There is nothing to learn people go office to enjoy and drink tea.you will watch movies in OMC make fun of girls working with you like they are not from any family.Worst Worst Worst est company.I am not saying this about HCL tech .Dont have any idea about that.This is HCL comnet .Even 3 of my friend was being so much tortured there that they left there ID card on there desk and never came back.I also want to do that but few people told me that it will not do anything as they will declare me as terminated or absconding but i also left the company in bond period.Few one who are macho man passed there bond period and left it in the very next month. Guys,If you have any other option dont go here.It is just a waste of time.No onsite,no perks,no shift allowance and no salary,no working env,no learning, ..you will get nothing from here.
