HCL makes no attempt to engage us as participants in the company; all they do is issue work and pay a salary. Short-notice international travel is a pain. Especially 11-hour flights in economy class. Only cheap hotels are allowed when you do travel. You have to use the company travel "service" to arrange your travel, and the whole process is painful. If, for example, your flight home is cancelled, they just can't cope; you have to do it all yourself. You will also wait two months to get your expenses paid. Don't even think of claiming the interest you will accrue on your credit card! There is a general air of chaos in the management of just about everything.

*No proper movement from a project to a different technical tracks,If at all there happens a person has to wait for 24 months and then he has to apply through T2ID and that process has about several rounds,which would take 6 months and then with the same salary he/she needs to continue until next hike(Anyway it would really less as per my experience and in my project). *New Managers who takes responsibility should know in and out of the project on how it was in the past and present. Most of the new Managers show BPO kind of management in Service Desk which is really not necessary. *Proper hike should be a mandate.Inspite of company getting more profits(Evidence through the internal mails) very meager hike. *Have a proper pay scale. *When joining HR would say we will get rotational shifts but that is just project dependent,that's not acceptable. *No night hour allowance but they give something called BHA(Bright hour Allowance) which is really very meager. *But most of the good/bad situations are based on the projects and the people managing it. *Cafeteria at night is pathetic and no one has ever addressed the situation inspite of sending repeated mails and even I sent an email to VP of HCL but I recalled the mail after a month and the recall was success where it means it was not even read for a month. Don't just concentrate on operations,concentrate on employees,operations will automatically run efficiently.
