Pros

none at all, for real- management are a joke, staff turnover is sky high for a reason

Cons

essentially everything. come into work to get screamed at by customers, with little to no way to resolve their issues, send them back into the phone queue for someone else to deal with until they inevitably get fed up and go away. totally soul crushing.

Pros

Some job security, found none

Cons

No salary hike, due to weird appraisal process and bell curve, after performing well, you may get worst appraisal.Management focuses on get the max work done by you and in March(during appraisal cycle), they will release you from project with poor appraisal. This helps them to generate more revenue for their account. They take best from you, and will give worst to you just for revenue generation. If you are on bench due to any reason, they will give you the date of Last working day.Total insecure environment.

Pros

There is plenty of work.

Cons

HCL signed a poorly negotiated contract with Verizon Wireless. We had to fight for every little thing. All of the HCL Verizon techs needed a console cable, thumb drive, and tool kit. HCL and Verizon had to negotiate this. It wasn't in the original contract. We also complained about building access and systems access. I couldn't reset a user's password. I was told during training that I would be driving my car to Verizon stores to fix their gear which wasn't mentioned by the 3rd party recruiter when they hired me. I don't drive my car for my employers. I would have thought twice about taking the job if I had been told that I was going to have to drive my car. Some of my co-workers were driving several hours to get to stores.
