      Very incompetent HR staff and relationship-based management with very low standards

      Pros

      Extremely rude, arrogant and most importantly incompetent HR staff. Low salaries for the already low quality of life in Cataluña (current labor laws are nonexistent!) and terribly wrong marketing standards - they have done everything "by the book" but in the opposite direction of success, career development, personal growth. If you want to be managed by the Zara sales clerk type with a high-school equivalent academic training plus 6-12 months Internship work experience who has been promoted to a HR manager or department head while YOU have done your job going through a rigorous academic training with an advanced degree and real work experience, apply for a nightmare job at Grupo Planeta.

      Great location in Barcelona but the worst work environment. If you want to be managed by the Zara sales clerk type with a high-school equivalent academic training plus 6-12 months Internship work experience (subtext low standards) who has been promoted to a HR manager or department head while YOU have done your job going through a rigorous academic training with an advanced degree and real work experience, apply for a nightmare job at Grupo Planeta . Be very careful with their mandatory VIDEO INTERVIEWS - despite the personal data protection laws the videos of candidates are circulating everywhere and the HR staff is using the materials for their own "entertainment" while being paid for a different job - extremely inappropriate, disgusting and out-of-control behavior of managers. I hope they get punishment sooner or later.
