      Good place but making it progressively harder for employees

      Pros

      Really good honest work environment. Great cafeteria as long as you're M-F first shift.

      Cons

      Grifols is trying to get their money back from buying Talecris. Everyone is now required to take 72 hours of their own personal time off (nearly half our year's worth) while the plant is doing summer shutdown. We get paid by the minute. It's a 10 minute walk in and back out. There's no maternity leave, only short term disability.

      on the job training with no phlebotomy experience

      Cons

      the location, the donors, the ghetto environment, short-staffed, lazy coworkers sometimes, some coworkers know too many donors and act ratchet with them, early morning monthly stupid meetings, working on Sundays and only closed on Xmas & NY!

      Pay good. Learning new skills great some people ok.

      Cons

      Hours horrible, holidays off 2 per year upper level mgt not in touch with reality at times. Finding people who actually want to work not collect a check.
