Pros

Fellow coworkers are nice, warm, and understanding. Leads are very knowledgeable.] The Donors are respectable and nice.

Cons

Upper management shuts down conversations without hearing the full situation. If you have family needs that require a set schedule every week forget it. Open availability ONLY! Management will not work with you. They have lost 5 people in the first two months I started. I am starting to see why. there is a trend happening.

Grifols - Great and Growing

Pros

Great Team environment. Lovely staff and friendly vibe within the office. Top management treat you like family and there is no hostility among staff members due to hierarchy positions. Everyone works towards the same goal...saving lives. Spacious free parking. Multi Cultural environment. Healthy lifestyle encouraged with fresh fruit delivered on site and Peptalk app implemented for staff to be consciously more active. Great holidays Sick leave covered Good health care package Internal promotions and room to grow in a team and in the company Lots of training and courses provided Management are great people, approachable and friendly.

Cons

Salary levels could be increased to meet competitor/ general market levels. No flexibility to work from home (for admin staff who could be easily facilitated to do this) even once a week. Requests and suggestions are rejected too often with the sentence 'this is not how it is done in other offices' or on the contrary, things are implemented with, 'this is how it is done in other offices'. For example, our head office in Barcelona, holidays are taken in August and many staff take off 2 - 3 weeks. This norm is expected here also from some managers. This does not make sense for our Irish market. Our climate does not soar over 30 degrees in the month of August. People like to take holidays throughout the year and not be forced to take them in August when flights, hotels etc. are peak prices just because in Spain they are facing 30+ degrees nor because 'this is how its always been done'. Also, we have manufacturing plants in USA, this norm does not apply to them. In Barcelona, staff receive a fantastic Christmas hamper full of treats, we do not receive this here in our Dublin office. Understandably so alcohol is more expensive here in Ireland due to taxes so one does not expect to receive this hamper just like one should not be expected to take 2-3 weeks of their holiday in the month of August. More understanding and flexibility is needed by management. This is a new company so staff should not be subjected to 'this is how its always been done'. It's a new company so processes can be new and improved and not afraid of change.

Dead End Job

Pros

Steady work. Good for a paycheck

Cons

Constantly understaffed. Authoritative management style. Reactive (vs proactive) management. Management shows employees very little appreciation for work ethic and leadership and does not take appropriate action to resolve conflict. Unacceptable behavior is not addressed. Unworthy candidates are promoted. Management motivates by public shaming.
