Pros
Google is what it sells: an amazing place to work for. People are generally active, open and extroverted. The working environment couldn't be better. The wage is above average for the industry. Office perks are great. The best thing about working for Google is that you are given full responsibility for your duties. Not often will you find a micromanager. They put real effort in giving everyone their space and responsibilities.
Cons
In cases, the person is overqualified for the job. Google has enough influence and attractiveness to bring on people that are too qualified for their jobs. Google rightly prides itself in having an amazing workforce, but it sometimes comes at the underutilization of people's abilities.
