Unstable company and low pay

Pros

The 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off) was the only perk. This will no longer be offered starting next month.

Cons

- Spain has been slowly taking over business functions to save the company money. It shows the company is no longer interested in investing in its people. Fluidra only care to cut costs quickly in order to meet unrealistic financial benchmarks. - Pay is LOW. Don’t even bother applying here. The amount of work expected to get done for the low salary is just offensive. - No job security. The company’s most recent layoff was in April 2026. However, there were a couple small lesser known lay offs leading up to the big one. - Money (or the lack of it) is the main driver of Fluidra’s decision making. Teams don’t have the budget needed to function as intended. Unrealistic low budgets means dated technology/understaffed teams. Because of this, Fluidra’s decision making across all teams is reactive, not proactive. - Low merit increases and terrible raises for promotions. - Lots of turnover in leadership over the past few years. Townhall meetings are a joke. No one is buying into company. It’s going downhill fast.

Positive environment but leadership changes have Crushed Moral

Pros

- Friendly Coworkers - Collaborative environment - Good Managers - Employee Share Program - Good Health Benefits - Company Sponsored Events - VP of Engineering is actually an engineer and understands the department he runs very well.

Cons

The Company has changed CEOs and has undergone a large organizational change that is still happening. Unfortunately with this change we have seen the things that made this place enjoyable stripped away. The general consensus is that we are no longer a Family we are just Numbers on a spread sheet. Where Quality and Pride once was has been replaced with Compromise and Speed so we can milk the most profits. Positions aren't being backfilled and calls for an increase in Headcount are being denied. They have also taken away many of the QOL benefits we had. - Summer Fridays turned into 9/80 Schedule - 1 Provided Lunch a week - Discounted Healthy Snacks at the Cafe - Breakfast on Working Fridays The 9/80 Schedule is also being sunset next month bringing Moral to an all time Low.

Pros

Not many… I suppose a job a Fluidra is better than no job at all.

Cons

Jobs moving to Spain where labor is cheaper. Comp is below market. Teams are short staffed. Lots of issues because of that. Sinking ship.
