Stable company with good pay and high probability for annual bonus in 10-15% range. Lots of opportunity for an optimistic problem solvers to flourish if able to surmount organizational challenges.

Cons

Fueled by tribal knowledge of experienced work force, new ideas and fresh perspectives are often met with strong opposition. This could be a difficult barrier for some to overcome.

Good pay to start. Company strives to be ethical and safe. Profit sharing and 401k are good. Values, employee appreciation preached at corporate level. Need more of that at local levels.

Cons

Management is uncaring. No regard for employees personal lives. Benefits should be better for such a large company. Not enough good people to get assigned work done. Stressful environment.

Above average salaries, overall good products and technologies, has policies to treat employees fairly, good expansion strategies.

Cons

Too much politics, at all levels, incredible amounts of time and effort are wasted in internal fighting. Organization is nearly incomprehensible: multiple layers and minute separations of the process and market that multiply exponentially the number of managers and reporting lines. Customer is rarely first. Depending on your manager, worklife becomes hard fast for the low level employee. There is a lot of low level training available, but not about the "good" stuff, and never within a training plan, it's more like "get what you can".
