The Commercial, Order Management, and Projects teams are clearly committed to keeping customers informed and helping prioritize work in the factory based on impact to customers and the business. The Engineering team is highly capable developing both innovative designs and solutions for manufacturing floor production issues. The production team has many highly skilled welders, machinists, assemblers and testers who clearly take pride in their work and support their fellow team members. There is good support and investment for trying new approaches (lean and Kaizan events) to address long term challenges.

Cons

There were challenges with achieving and sustaining high delivery reliability. These originated from supply chain (parts availability), process complexity, and shifting customer requirements (schedule and technical scope). The Flowserve team worked well to address these items.
