Pros

Company with great management and pedigree, but only in the USA. Significant on-site opportunities for a valued employee in India.

Cons

Top Performers are not valued - appraisal rates vary drastically across verticals for the same performance rating. Inept and lax HR group - I wasn't even given an exit interview upon leaving. A very bad co. in India to start your career with - uncompetitive salaries (fresher salaries unchanged for 7+ years), no good onboarding program, chalta hai attitude-fresh recruits were kept on the bench for 15+ months with no HR assistance. India office is full of management politicking with little opportunities that aren't gimmicks. Fidelity in US might be a great place to work, not so in India. No synergy across Bangalore and Chennai India sites. Fidelity India lies to Fidelity US (fact).

Pros

Good Salary and benefits, flexible hours, really good graduate training, got thought good software development processes. Good corporate values.

Cons

Politics, management who rewards and back slaps themselves, treated badly, this was my first job and my confidence as a developer after leaving this job was on the floor, more time spent going to and from meetings than doing development, little or no travel, favoritism, once key people get a bad opinion of you, you're put in a category of useless people

Pros

Tons of money to throw around means good benefits and fair salary.

Cons

Large corporations adapt at glacial speeds, and this one is no different. As a technology professional its imperative to stay up to date with the latest innovations, and in a company where your job is primarily spent maintaining 20+ year old systems, that's hard to do.
