USED to be a great place to work

Pros

Bonuses and shares can make up for low base pay (if you are granted them)

Cons

- Micromanagement to the extreme, both on your team and the larger company. You have to "justify" your reason for not coming into the office. Pre-pandemic, this was never the case, employees were trusted and empowered to get their work done, with flexibility! - Medical benefits changed as of 2026- an annual derm skin check runs you $500+ when it had previously been free.

Pros

Awesome benefits and profit sharing!! Fidelity was a great company to work for which is why I gave it four stars. Personally I hated the job but it was in no way because of the company itself. The industry was not a good fit for me. They are so remarkably helpful especially when it comes to passing your licensing exams. I had five team leads in the three years that I worked there and I genuinely enjoyed working with each of them. Management is always in your corner cheering you on!

Cons

High stress at different points in the year, tax season being particularly difficult. They do make sure you get some time off of phones every day but when you are on the calls are back to back. Some customers are very knowledgeable and will make sure that you know it. These calls can be anxiety producing especially if you are new. If you hate being on phones it may not be the role for you as other roles don’t frequently open up and when they do the competition for them is intense.
