Pros

Disorganized management makes it an easy job to keep if you show up. If you set strong boundaries and defend yourself you don’t have to overwork yourself. They rarely fire over making rate, especially if you show up on time and do the job, even if you’re not that good at it. Some managers are cool but usually play favorites, maybe you could make a friend ….

Cons

People in management are miserable, personally and professionally. They will abuse your rights if they can get away with it, and some of them are sadistic people who look down on everyone below them on the totem pole. They use an app to schedule shifts and change scheduled shifts constantly, creating unpredictable work hours that are disrespectful and inconvenient. They squeeze everything they can out of people who are willing to work, and understaff the building on purpose to save money (nothing new). This job is only worth it if you know not to care, always to report injuries and document EVERYTHING, and so long as you remember that they don’t value anyone, not even loyalty, hard work, or valuable experience.

Pros

Flexibility with time off and a good schedule

Cons

The company has been in a steady decline, they don’t care about their employees and would rather replace you than keep a good employee.

Recently, job security has become a significant concern due to the company's weak leadership. Work-life balance largely depends on navigating corporate politics. It's wise to keep your resume updated, as layoffs occur each quarter. Even those with a PhD may find themselves assigned to tasks suitable for undergraduate-level employees.Last 2 years, many great Data Scientists left this company and this trend is continuing....
