Pros

Management does a good job handling internal budget and communicating with employees, great benefit package, monthly lunches provided. Fedex promotes a healthy work environment resulting in better productivity.

Cons

Sometimes favoritism was noticeable towards certain employees.

Pros

The benefits are incredible. Not many companies give part-time benefits. Also not many companies hire you on with NO PREVIOUS JOB EXPERIENCE. I applaud FedEx for doing that. They take chances on people. Also the interview process for Handlers is so easy a monkey could pass it.

Cons

"Part-Time" that's there motto basically. Good luck getting full-time, and if you do, then you're extremely fortunate. You can't make a living here by just part-time. This company is only beneficial for people that are going to school and can only work part-time. If you're trying to feed your family then this isn't the place for you. Unfortunately I hate to say this but FedEx is CHEAP. I get it you have to spread out your resources and pay every employee accordingly. But really? you'll average 17-20 hours a week that is just unacceptable.

Pros

Hourly is ok for an inbetween job - If you are unloading the trucks it is a good work out but can be dangerous. That is either a pro or a con.

Cons

Physically and mentally demanding. Graveyard driving is brutal. Takes forever to get full time and move up. Guy I work with has been there for 5 years and just now got a chance to move up to courier
