      Pros

      Financially the sky was the limit. Incentive compensation was tied directly to operational and goal attainment. You either motivated the troops to success or you did not. It was that simple.

      Cons

      Long hours; unequal compensation specifically for contractors considering thier level of effort; RPPA - Roadway Package Protective Association. Incompetent Regional and Divisional level management promoted because of who they knew and not on what they did or what they could do.

      Pros

      Fast paced and a good work out and great medical plan. FedEx was fun I meet a lot of nice people while working on the ramp I have always loved aircraft and working around them the X gave me all the time to near commercial AC I could handle.

      Cons

      When there was no work you went home, and there were systems in place to prevent favoritism but it seemed that middle managers could always get around hiring practices. I applied for a position with in the company and was told I did not even get considered because I had a write up 6 months earlier. Oh well over all FedEx is not bad just stay away from the drama and it is a good part time job with good medical.
