Pros

Managers were very organized, and your duties were made clear. Overall they made good attempts at creating a positive work environment, despite the unpleasant job tasks.

Cons

Loud, noisy working conditions. Very tiring and monotonous work, which makes most people not look forward to going to work.

Pros

Work hours are good for students or people who have another job. Inbound 4 AM to 8 AM Tuesday through Saturday. Outbound is from about 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday. $1000 Tuitition assistance every year for students after they have been employed for a year. Being a package handler is like being paid to work out.

Cons

Very fast paced. Very hot in the middle of the summer. Very cold in the middle of winter. A high burden is put on you at times because of the turnover rate.

The pay for the handler position was fair. The benefits package was very good. The holiday pay and vacation pay was good.

Cons

You will be require to work split shifts at the Federal Express Handler position at the airport location. Will not be told 100% at interview.
