Pros

Great pension plan, perks, potlucks and general commoradery with co-workers. They also help with tuition.

Cons

Poor management, lack of organization, a lot of favouritism, seniority with vacation requests, the rules only get enforced against who the manager doesn't like. You have to be a bootlicker to advance.

Pros

Best job I've had. Very laid back culture as long as you do your job. Cool people to work with makes the time fly.

Cons

Part-time (30 Hours/week) works for me perfect but others may prefer more hours.

Pros

Great benefits, including insurance and 401k, which are both offered to part-time employees. They pay drivers and dock workers very well. Depending on where you live, most dock workers start out over $17/hour.

Cons

As my title states: FedEx Freight is a terrible place to be a supervisor. As a supervisor, you will receive the worst treatment of anybody in this company. Long hours and low salary. I usually worked 7 PM - 7 AM five nights a week and only made $54,000 a year. And that 12 hour shift did not include a lunch break or any kind of break for that matter... it is nonstop. Some full time dock workers make more money than supervisors and they don’t have to deal with all the stress, which you will have an extreme amount of stress placed on you for multiple reasons I’m not even gonna go into. Just take mine and so many others advice and do not become a supervisor for this company. It is a good place to just be a dock worker or a driver.
