Pros

Get a cdl without paying upfront. But if you quit within a year, they will hunt you down, demand payment of thousands of dollars and threaten your credit. Pays very well, but you will earn every red cent and then some.

Cons

12 to 16 hr shifts. 1 half hr lunch, 5 days a week. Double trailers paid by the load not hr. (See advice for management)

You get a pay bump every three months.

Cons

Incompetent management at every level. No empathy, and no humanity behind those black beady eyes. The rules would change all the time, but you wouldn’t find out until you break one. They seemed to make up the most absurd polices, and focus all of their energy on enforcing them, rather than addressing the real issues at hand. They created their own problems, then complained about them. We were always short staffed, and punished for missing work. If you enjoy being a mistreated company simp, this is the job for you. If you want a career with no growth, this is the job for you!!!

FedEx used to be amazing company with amazing benefits for it's employees.

Cons

Terrible work environment. Policies and processes are outdated and the company isn't adapting to "the times". Sadly they are now forcing out all tenured employees before retirement to avoid paying out pensions.
