It was very good for me i learned how to Supervise, communicate well with others and follow policies.

Pros

They are a very big company and i felt that i didn't have to worry about them closing. Consistent work. People in the office and out in the field were very nice. They always keep their equipment in good condition.

Cons

They would move me from from shift to shift and it was very hard to have any kind of family life.Hardly recruited from within the company. A lot of good employees would get passed up for promotions and would leave the company. Finally the amount of hours people work is too much for them and their is no family time for many people at all except for management.

Good Benefits decent pay. Equipment is in good shape

Cons

Long Hours they treat you as "property" I was told by supervisor that Fed Ex Freight owns me and will work me as they see fit and that I am no different than the tractors in the yard and If I don't like it turn in my badge. This is the company you are applying to. If your new they will run you into the ground and treat you like crap. ASK ANYONE HOW THE TURN OVER RATE IS. Don't expect a life if you work for FedEx
