Pros

Nothing , Only suggestion is not to join this company.

Cons

> Sub-standard work quality, wont recommend any one to join > Employees are not provided with opportunity to grow. Incompetent leads , good for nothing > Irregular and ambiguous appraisal cycles > Favoritism and Preferential treatment for most of the employees > Higher management can go back on there words anytime, they will promise bonus and by the end of year nothing will be provided. > No Transparency in management decisions made. > Awful work culture, with worst HR policies Like no carry forward of leaves > Even if you are working from home for lets say 3 hours that as well needs to be tracked via Leave management system > A Product based company where higher management belongs to a service based , hence don't expect any perks of a product based firm. > Micromanagement , you are bound to spent 9 hours at office excluding the time spent at washrooms. > Employees are treated as mere resources, even house keeping staff where they have to deliver chai, water etc to Higher management rooms

Pros

After a year at the company, they’ll pay for SANS training which is great. If you’re new to security, put your year in, get your cert, then run. The current manager of Security knows his stuff. The current senior manager of Networking/systems knows his stuff. Not a terrible place to work in IT if you like slow environments with red tape. Stock is pretty consistent, but you’ll never get any unless you’re a manager or choose to invest your 401k in it.

Cons

Fastenal, across all lanes of IT, pays in like the 20th percentile at BEST. Somehow they keep getting away with criminally underpaying everyone and it is truly amazing. Asking for raises will typically end up in gaslighting. Sloooow to progress. Way behind market trends. Time off? Ha you wish. Worst benefits ever. Old school management has zero clue how to manage remote workers. Zero diversity in senior leadership last I saw. It shows.

Pros

Good tech stack to work on

Cons

Worst HR department. Higher management doesn’t understands employee’s problems. Poor work culture. Strict timings no flexibility yet all. No WFH even if you are pregnant or have a baby at home. Nowadays companies give some flexibility when employees are in need. Fastenal still is a old school
