Pros

Offers a solid platform for gaining "on-the-job", hands-on experience in logistics and operations. Great for students or part-time employees looking for minimal pay.

Cons

Integrity is a constant talking point among Senior leadership, but it is rarely practiced by those preaching it. This disconnect fosters distrust and diminishes the credibility of those in charge. A culture of management cliques dominates the hub. Employees who are not part of these groups are treated as outsiders and met with consistent opposition, undermining collaboration and morale. Disparities in workload expectations for salaried managers are glaring. Some are expected to work as many hours as necessary to meet goals, while others consistently enjoy banker hours, rarely exceeding 45 hours per week. This inequity discourages team cohesion and creates resentment. Leadership has failed to address or improve toxic workplace dynamics, leaving employees to navigate a hostile and dismissive environment. Decision-making frameworks that focus on legal and ethical minimums fail to account for the complexities of effective people management, leading to poor handling of employee concerns and operational issues. Persistent safety concerns remain ignored despite repeated warnings, reflecting a lack of commitment to employee safety and operational accountability. Efforts to advocate for fair compensation and career growth were often dismissed, further contributing to frustration and high turnover. Communication and collaboration between management and employees are insufficient, leading to inefficiencies and missed opportunities for improvement.
